Tuberville Hoping for Quick QB Winner
Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville finds himself in two unusual situations.
The Tigers are picked to finish first in the Southeastern Conference Western Division by league media. Also their quarterback position is up for grabs for a change.
Tuberville said he hopes to choose between Chris Todd and Kodi Burns as the starting quarterback fairly early in preseason practices.
Tuberville said Burns has the edge now but he wouldn't be surprised if Todd wins the job.
He said both will play.
They will be running Tony Franklin's newly implemented spread offense.
Tuberville also said offensive lineman Chaz Ramsey's status is uncertain for the start of fall practice after undergoing back surgery.
